Quantity Surveyor, VIC
Our Melbourne team have an exciting opening for an experienced Quantity Surveyor. Working closely with a senior leader in a designated sector, you will contribute to the delivery of and lead small to medium -sized projects within our residential and hotels sector, alongside projects across a variety of sectors.
Your responsibilities will include the preparation of cost plans and estimates, Bill of Quantities, monthly cost reports and cashflow forecasts, as well as the assessment of progress claims and variations. You will represent Slattery in design and client meetings and undertake site visits, ensuring our advice reflects technical rigour and provides confidence and clarity on complex construction projects.
You will bring at least two years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with exposure across multiple sectors – preferably residential, commercial, workplace fit outs, and education. You will be self-motivated with an eagerness to grow your career. Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Architectural Design, or Civil Engineering are required. RICS or AIQS accreditation, or a commitment to working towards accreditation, will be highly regarded.

Associate, NSW
We are seeking an experienced Associate to join our New South Wales team. Working closely with our national leadership group, you’ll manage small, medium, and large scale projects across a wide variety of sectors. Experience working with commercial or residential clients would be advantageous. Key aspects of this role include:
- Management of small, medium and large-scale projects end to end
- Client leadership and stakeholder management
- Delivery of pre and post contract assignments
- Undertaking benchmarking, tender analysis and reporting
- Lead small project teams providing briefings, monitoring task progress and sharing feedback and development actions on all delegated work
- Supporting business development activities
Success in this role will come from your ability to build impactful relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.

Our National MEP team work on projects with key clients including Melbourne Airport, UNSW and Queensland Health. To support growth, we are expanding and seek expressions of interest from MEP specialists from Quantity Surveyor to Associate level with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience. We are looking for Quantity Surveyors, Estimators or Project Engineers with MEP backgrounds (preferably electrical or mechanical) who are interested in exploring opportunities with us.
Critical to your success will be your strong relationship management, collaboration, and communication skills.
